From the picturesque landscapes of Spiti Valley to the rugged beauty of Leh and the serene Pangong Lake, this road trip is bound to be an experience of a lifetime.

Travel Plan

Upon arrival in Manali, you will check in to your hotel and relax after your journey. Enjoy the cool weather, and explore the vibrant local markets. Optional activities include visiting the Hadimba Temple and Solang Valley. In the evening, relax and enjoy the picturesque views of the surrounding hills.
After breakfast, you begin your road trip toward Jispa, crossing Rohtang Pass, which is one of the highest motorable passes in the region. The drive takes you through scenic valleys and villages, where you can stop to admire the views. Overnight in Jispa, where you can experience the peaceful surroundings of the Himalayan foothills.
The road journey continues through the picturesque Baralacha La Pass, offering spectacular views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Sarchu is a high-altitude tented camp, where you can relax after the long drive. The night will be spent in Sarchu, surrounded by barren yet beautiful landscapes.
The journey continues as you cross the Tanglang La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world, and head toward Leh. Along the way, you’ll be amazed by the vastness and serenity of the desert-like landscape. Upon arrival in Leh, check-in to your hotel and relax after the long drive.
On this day, you will explore the main attractions of Leh, including the famous Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and the Leh Palace. These sites offer great insights into Ladakh's history, culture, and architecture. In the evening, explore the local market and enjoy some traditional Ladakhi cuisine.
After an early breakfast, drive towards the stunning Pangong Lake, which is known for its surreal, turquoise waters and incredible mountain backdrop. On the way, you’ll pass through Chang La Pass. Upon reaching Pangong, take time to enjoy the lake's tranquility and the surrounding scenery. Overnight stay in tents near the lake.
Today’s journey takes you through the famous Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, before arriving in Nubra Valley. The valley is famous for its dramatic landscapes and the ancient Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
On the return journey to Leh, you will visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy a camel ride. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Diskit Monastery, which offers stunning views of the valley. After exploring, head back to Leh for an overnight stay.
On this day, begin your return journey to Manali. The road will take you through high-altitude mountain passes, including the Baralacha La Pass and Rohtang Pass. Once you reach Manali, check in to your hotel and enjoy your last evening in the mountains.
After breakfast, your road trip concludes, and you’ll head to the bus or taxi stand for your journey back home.
